Msichana Initiative in Cooperation with My Ilava on 14th May donated a total number of 1000 masks to women at ferry fish market, the purpose of this donation was to support the efforts against the spread of COVID-19.
According to the International Labour Organization (ILO) 2006, more than 80% of women are working in informal sectors such as markets where there are a lot of people which make them at risk of getting infection.
All of us have the responsibility to make the efforts and strategies to protect and to reach them by giving them education on how to protect themselves against COVID-19. #JikingeWakingeWengine
